1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PRD Creator at prdcreator.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

2. Description of Service

PRD Creator is an AI-powered tool that generates structured Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) from product descriptions. The Service uses large language models (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT-4o) to produce comprehensive, multi-section PRDs optimized for AI coding tools and product development workflows.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice.

3. Account Registration

You may use certain features of the Service without creating an account. However, creating an account (via GitHub OAuth) is required to:

Save and access your PRD history.
Purchase and use Pro subscription features.
Purchase Single Doc access.

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Pricing and Payments

PRD Creator offers the following tiers:

Free — $0/month

Generate 1 PRD per week. Basic template. Copy and download your PRD. No account required.

Pro — $10/month

Unlimited PRDs. All 5 templates. PRD history. PDF export. Refinement chat. Account required.

Single Doc — $5 one-time

One full PRD with all Pro features. Permanent access to that document. No subscription required.

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. By purchasing a subscription or one-time product, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service. Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time through your Lemon Squeezy account or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Usage Limits

Free tier users may generate up to 1 PRD per week. This limit resets on a rolling 7-day window. We enforce rate limits using IP address tracking to prevent abuse.

We reserve the right to modify usage limits at any time. If we reduce limits for paid tiers, existing subscribers will be notified in advance and may cancel without penalty.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, templates, and underlying technology, is owned by PRD Creator and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service itself. The PRD templates, prompts, and system architecture remain the intellectual property of PRD Creator.

7. Content Ownership

You own the PRDs you generate.

The product descriptions you submit and the PRDs generated from them belong to you. You retain all rights to your content and may use your generated PRDs for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.

By using the Service, you grant PRD Creator a limited license to process your input solely for the purpose of generating your PRD. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use your product descriptions or generated PRDs for marketing or training purposes without your explicit consent.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the free tier through automated means, multiple accounts, or other methods.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service.
Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service without written permission.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines at our sole discretion.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

PRDs are AI-generated and should be reviewed by humans.

The PRDs generated by this Service are produced by artificial intelligence models. While we strive for high-quality output, AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or suggestions that are not appropriate for your specific use case.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating any PRD before using it in a professional or production context. PRD Creator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any generated document.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PRD Creator and its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PRD Creator and its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have a paid subscription, you may cancel it through your Lemon Squeezy account. Previously generated and downloaded PRDs remain yours after termination.

Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, disclaimer of warranties, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
